The Sainsbury’s Entertainment on Demand blog posted articles that were informative, funny and captivating, but we had a problem. Without access to social media it was difficult to get visitors and shares, and there was no budget for that essential component of digital marketing apparently. So, we used a number of different approaches to overcome this issue, including asking authors to use their own social media to publicise articles they wrote and collaborating with books bloggers to spread the word. A monthly blog newsletter was another ploy. Below are the examples from August and September.
